Willy Rizzo coffee table, brass & chrome frame with original bevelled glass top, 1970`s ca, Italy.
The
square shape of this 1970`s coffee table is enhanced by the
stepped detailing of solid brass, chrome & gold plated gilt resulting in a strong bold statement. These materials and form make this Modernist coffee table well suited for a range of decorative schemes such as Art Deco, Hollywood Glamour, Minimalist or Traditional.
The solid brass cuboid formed base supports a removable bevelled glass. The top of the base has a decorative stepped pattern of chrome, brass and gold plated gilt typical of
Italian designer Willy Rizzo.
The original bevelled clear glass top is discretely suspended in this frame. The solid brass legs are similar to the main frame offering flow of design as well as strength.
This table has been thoroughly cleaned. The original vintage removable glass top is in very good condition with only minor wear on the surface in line with age but no chips or damages. The frame is also in very good condition with age related patina to the metal in some areas which provides character & authenticity.
Wrapping is offered free of charge; the glass top would be wrapped in both bubblewrap & card and the frame bubble wrapped.
The thickness of the bevelled glass is 0.8 cm.
We have also in stock at Roomscape for sale, a vintage Willy Rizzo Alveo coffee table/bar, see
