Brass flower table lamps, a pair in the
Brutalist style
of Willy Daro designs by the Belgian lighting company `Massive Lighting`, 1970`s ca.
Thoroughly cleaned respecting the antique patina. Newly rewired & earthed with gold-tone silk cable, new plug and new black switch on the cable. Light bulbs included. These table lamps are ready to use.
These decorative table lamps consist of 6 quality cast naturalistic textured leaves on a brass gilt frame. The golden brass tone reflects a warm light creating depth & interesting reflections. The center of each light is finished playfully with a brass lamp holder, perfect for a decorative light bulb such as a Gold Crown light bulb (as photographed).
Each sculptural frame consists of 6 leaves, 3 facing upwards and 3 facing downwards. The bottom leaves also serve as the base of the lamp which
adds stability and creates a continuous organic sculptural form.
The centre of the light consist of a (E27) lamp holder covered with a decorative brass tube.
Each individual light carries 1 large standard screw light bulb (E27) up to 60 watts. These lights are presently fitted with Gold Crown light bulbs of 60 Watts (as photographed). These bulbs are included in this price. Replacements are easy to purchase in most lighting shops or over the internet.
Alternatively it is possible to use other (E27) light bulb shapes. A photograph is included of this light with clear `Antique Filament Decorative` bulbs to serve as an example of a subtle look.
Both table lamps are in very good condition. The quality frames have the original vintage patina adding character with some minor rubbing on the gilt in line with age. One lamp has the original maker`s label on the frame. These table lamps sell together and the price is for the pair.
Packing is offered free of charge. These lamps would be bubble wrapped separately and boxed together safely for transport. They would easily fit into a box and could be posted in the mail.
