Hillebrand pair large wall lights, crystal & chrome, 1970`s ca, German in Vintage Hillebrand Lighting from Roomscape

Hillebrand large vintage sculptural wall lights like these are rare to find. Each consists of textured quality clear crystal tubular shades simulating ice or water on chrome frames. Originally designed for bathrooms, they work in any other room as well. They could be fitted also in any position/angle. Each crystal shade has an external gloss finish while inside it is textured with a layer of sparkling shards of glass creating depth and reflection. The design allows these lights to be placed either vertically or horizontally. They could also be fitted joined together for a continuous long light. Each removable shade attaches by 2 hexagonal chrome screws to the polished chrome frame. The frames at the top & bottom have polished chrome ends following the curved shape of the shade, to avoid seeing the bulbs inside and to diffuse the light through the crystal for maximum effect. There is a discrete light switch on the bottom/side of each frame. There are three holes on the back of each frame to fit the piece to the wall. Each light carries inside six small screw standard light bulbs (E14) up to 40 Watts each. Each frame has the original Hillebrand maker`s label. The shades and frames are in excellent condition.
