A rare and elegant early Mid Century Scandinavian pair of armchairs with
deep seat on a chrome swivel base. These vintage armchairs are very comfortable which is further enhanced with a separate cushion for the back & floating headrest. The shape of the headrests have a late 50`s design which is particularly elegant. The organic curves on the arms and sides of the frame, create movement and a sense of lightness. Both armchairs are in the original quality black leather upholstery which is in very good vintage condition. The leather has achieved a soft smooth patina which can only be achieved with time. Perfect for a range of interiors such as Modernist, Minimalist, Mid-Century, Lounge or Industrial. There are a few scuff marks to the leather in line with age but no rips or damage. The zippers to the cushions work smoothly. The chrome bases can be unscrewed from the frames for transport and are both in very good condition, with only some wear to two of the black rubber stoppers. They sell together and this price is for the pair.
