Vintage urns ceramic vases, one by Royal Winton & two by Shorter & Son, Mid-century, English.
These items have been gently cleaned while respecting the vintage patina; they are ready to use.
These three neoclassical ceramic vases/urns sell together or separate.

Both the green iridescent vase & the white vase were produced by Shorter & Son, England. The silver gilt vase was produced by Royal Winton, England.
The green vase is the largest and earliest, dating from around 1910. It is a combination of the Neoclassical and Arts & Crafts styles, having a very attractive iridescent glaze in teal & blue tones. The same colour and finish can be found inside the vase. It is signed underneath the base in black: "Shorter & Son Ltd Stoke on Trent, England L/S 807". This vase is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and only a couple of minor superficial scratches in line with age.
The white elongated vase is in the Art Deco style, with a geometric minimal shape, dating from the 1930`s. It is in a white satin finish inside & out. It is signed underneath the vase in grey: "Shorter & Son Ltd, Made in England 718 L/S".
This vase is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, and only a couple of minor superficial variations to the paint colouring from manufacture.
The silver gilt vase is in the Neoclassical style, dates from the 1940`s ca. It has a silver gilt finish on the outside and a white gloss finish on the inside. It is signed underneath the base: "Royal Winton Grimwades Made in England".
This vase is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It has some rubbing to the gilt and a couple of minor superficial scratches.

Height: 27.5 cm, Width: 15.5 cm, Depth: 15.5 cm, Diameter at top: 15.5 cm, Diameter at bottom: 11.7 cm.
Packing is offered free of charge. We take special professional care while packing. For safe transport the 3 vases would be wrapped separately in bubble wrap and an outer layer of card. Together these pieces would be boxed with loose fill packing nuts, safe for posting with a courier.
"ENGLAND" & "MADE IN ENGLAND" MARKS ON POTTERY
Inclusion of the word `England` in marks denotes a date after 1891, although some manufacturers added the word slightly before this date. `Made in England` denotes a 20th-Century date. It was William McKinley, the 25th president of the USA, who introduced the highly protectionist McKinley Tariff Act of 1890 that imposed tariffs on many imports (including pottery) in order to make it easier for the American manufacturers to sell their products. It was a requirement of this Act that all such imports carried the name of the country of manufacture. In 1921 the Act was amended to require the phrase "Made in" preceding the country of origin.
