Trifari vintage gold plate & rhinestone necklace, bracelet & earrings by Alfred Phillipe 1950’s ca, USA. The necklace is the form of a choker or collar and finishes with a hook & loop. The bracelet has a small fold-over clasp. The earrings are clip-on but can easily be adapted for pierced ears. The hook, reverse of the clasp and the back of the earrings are stamped Trifari and © suggesting production after 1955. The set is featured in several books: Costume Jewelry, The Golden Age of Design, by Joann Dubbs Ball, p. 113; Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry, Identification & Values, by Marcia Brown, p. 172. Original Trifari magazine ad shown Christmas 1950. Good vintage condition for the age. Gift box included.
