Trifari vintage `Queen of Hearts` by Alfred Philippe gold tone necklace 1940`s ca, American.

This is Alfred Philippe`s 1949 design called "Queen of Hearts". This necklace is gold toned with 31 open work hearts each having two rhinestones set above in an interlinked design. Ideal as a wedding & Valentine`s necklace. The back of the fold over clasp is stamped "Trifari Pat Pend." T his is based on design patents #152359 and #152358 dated January 11, 1949 filed by Alfred Philippe for Trifari. This vintage choker is shown in the 1996 book "Best of Costume Jewelry" by Schiffer. Gift box included.
