Gaetano Sciolari for Lightolier vintage chrome & white lacquer sculptural chandelier, 1970`s ca, Italy. Attractive sculptural combination of polished chrome vertical tubes connected by horizontal arches. The top and bottom surface of each arch are in polished chrome, while the sides of each arch are flat metal surfaces lacquered in satin white colour. The contrasting finishings reflect beautifully the light and emphasize texture. This piece is from Sciolari`s Scultura collection. The decorative original chrome ceiling cup finishes the frame at the top and can be adjusted. The total height of the chandelier can be lengthened or shortened by altering the chain. Carries 10 standard small screw light bulbs up to 40 Watts each. At present photographed with Pygmy shaped 15 Watts light bulbs, but can take other bulb shape for a different look. Inside the ceiling cup there is the original Sciolari maker`s label. Excellent condition all over. Rewired and in full working order.

Height of the frame without the chain is 73 cm.
