Sciolari brass chandelier, Gaetano Sciolari for Lightolier, with chrome & crystals, 12 lights, 1970`s ca, Italy.

Thoroughly cleaned, newly rewired, in full working order and ready to install. Light bulbs included.

This 1970`s brass chandelier is an attractive sculptural form of brass & chrome reflecting light and emphasizing texture. Twelve vertical tubular brass columns alternating in height are bisected by horizontal elliptical arms in chrome. This chrome continues in detail on the main vertical brass column to create an illusion of orbital movement. This Modernist design is inspired by a traditional candle type chandelier with the playful finishing detail of the 12 removable clear crystal bobeches. This Gaetano Sciolari brass chandelier has the original ceiling cap with the Sciolari maker`s label. The chain can be shortened or lengthened for different lengths as well as tucked away for easy transport in a box. Carries 12 standard E 14 small screw light bulbs up to 40 watts each. At present photographed with Pygmy shape bulbs of 15 Watts, but takes any other bulb shape for a different look. Candle bulbs could be used for a traditional look or Gold crown bulbs for a Pop look. The frame is in very good condition with the original aged brass patina which gives character. All the crystal bobeches are in excellent condition with no chips or damages.
For safe transport each crystal bobeche could be individually wrapped and safely boxed free of charge.

Height of only the frame, without the bar is 54 cm
The length of the chain only is 32 cm
