Peill & Putzler pair of vintage large `Mushroom` table lamps with illuminated bases, 1970`s ca, Germany. Each lamp consists of a quality hand blown glass base containing a light, together with a glass shade which is finished with a brass screw plate at the top. The glass has an elegant satin finish and is in a mocha colour with elegant white stripes. Both lamps can be disassembled. Each glass base has at the top a brass fitting that unscrews to reveal the inside bulb. Each lamp carries the original maker`s label. Each lamp carries one standard large screw light bulb at the top up to 100 Watts and one standard small screw light bulb up to 40 Watts inside the base. Both lamps have a cord switch that allows for the top and bottom to be on together or separately. Rewired and in full working order. Both lamps in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. They sell together and the price is for the pair.
