Pair vintage high back sculptural armchairs in the style of Saporiti, 1950`s ca, bought in Rome, Italy. This pair dates from the 1950`s combining glamour with function. Nice light & delicate proportions but very comfortable as these are proper wide and deep armchairs on solid frames. The 50`s organic lines curve on the frame creating a"lounge" feeling.The vintage burgundy velvet upholstery is in good condition consistent with age, with no rips or cuts, only some wear. The original black metal with brass detail spindle legs give an effect of lightness to this piece. They could be used as is, or
ideal for reupholstering. They sell together. The price is for the pair.
