Pair Banci Firenze Florentine tole gold gilt table lamps, crystal flowers on alabaster columns, 1950`s ca, Italian.
These table lamps have been gently cleaned while respecting the antique patina. Both are newly rewired, earthed, fully working and PAT tested by an electrician. Each has a new brass metal lamp holder, gold tone silk cable & new black cord switch & black plug. Light bulbs included. It is possible to use these lights in other countries although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity.
These gold gilt Florentine tole table lamps with crystal flowers & alabaster details are attributed to Banci Firenze of Italy. Banci is a well established manufacturer of luxury lighting since 1899, well known for its quality Florentine Tole craftsmanship.
With the luxurious materials & sculptural presence, these lamps would suit a range of interiors such as Antique, Traditional, Hollywood Regency, Post Modern, Industrial or Contemporary.
Each lamp is designed as a Neoclassical single candelabra. Rising from the round gilt brass base, there is an alabaster portion followed by a gilt tole central column and another alabaster detail leading to the brass lamp holder & cover.
From the tole foliage spread three arms, each finished with a crystal flower.
Each lamp carry one E 27 standard big screw light bulb up to 100 Watts. At present fitted and photographed with clear Candle light bulbs of 25 Watts, which are included in the price. Alternatively it is possible to use any other E 27 light bulb shapes.
The drum lamp shades in silk ivory finish the lamp. Each shade is screwed in place to the lamp holder by a brass ring.
Both antique lamps are in very good condition. The bases are in very good condition with no damages or chips to the alabaster or crystal flowers. The brass & alabaster surfaces have the original antique patina and some marks and rubbing to the gilt adding character in line with age. The lampshades are in good condition with minor marks & stains, as photographed, but no cuts or damage.
These lamps sell together and the price is for the pair.
Packing is offered free of charge. We take special professional care while packing. For safe transport the shades would be wrapped separately in bubble wrap and an outer layer of card. These would be stacked together. The bases would also be wrapped separately in bubble wrap and an outer layer of card. Together these pieces would be boxed, safe for posting or shipping with a courier.
