Orsenigo furniture silver gilt & brass two tier drinks trolley/bar 1970`s ca, Italy.
Inspired by the Art Deco period, this useful Neoclassical Italian two tier drinks trolley is in two-toned highly polished metals, silver gilt & brass. The Roman numeral brass details around the base are also in Deco style.
The sturdy silver plated gilt frame is very decorative & elegant with a simple geometric brass architectural detailing in each corner. The convex handles on either side keep the symmetry of styling as well being practical so this trolley can move easily in any direction. The Deco style brass Roman numerals around the base is a characteristic feature of Orsenigo ‘Art Deco’ collection. There is the original thick clear bevelled glass shelf and top, with an emerald green effect. Both pieces of glass are in perfect condition. This trolley moves smoothly on its four castor wheels which are decoratively covered with brass lacquered covers. On the underside there is the original Orsenigo maker`s label.
Thoroughly cleaned and in excellent condition with a warm aged patina to the silver gilt adding character
