Orsenigo furniture brass & silver gilt nest of 3 tables, 1970`s ca, Italy.

All 3 tables have been thoroughly cleaned and are in excellent condition.

Inspired by the Art Deco period, this Neoclassical Italian nest of 3 side tables is in two-toned highly polished metals; brass with silver gilt details. The Roman numeral silver details around the tops are also in the classic Art Deco style. Each table is complementary with minor differences in design which makes the entire composition attractive and interesting.

The sturdy gilt brass frame is very decorative & elegant with a simple geometric silver architectural detailing in each corner; at the top of the frames and at the bottom of the legs. The detail at each top finishes with a brass pyramid shape cup. The Art Deco style silver Roman numerals are present in all 3 tables, laterally around the base just underneath the top of the frames. This detail is a design feature of the Orsenigo ‘Art Deco’ collection.

The big rectangular table carries the number IXI at the front & back and the number II on both short sides. The medium rectangular table and the small square table both carry the number II on two sides. These details with subtle differences make for a great composition when they are displayed separate or stacked together.

Each table has the original vintage thick clear bevelled glass top, with an emerald green effect. When stacked they fit together flush on the front side.

All the glass tops are in excellent condition with no chips or damages. The frames are in very good condition, solid with no movement and a light patina on the finish in line with age. On the underside of the frame, there is the original Orsenigo maker`s label.

The big table has the following dimensions: Height: 52 cm, Width: 60.5 cm, Depth: 40.5 cm

The middle table has the following dimensions: Height: 41 cm, Width: 50.5 cm, Depth: 40.5 cm

The smallest table has the following dimensions: Height: 36 cm, Width: 40.5 cm, Depth: 40.5 cm
