Mid Century nesting tables by Marindo Blad, 1950`s ca, Dutch.
These tables have been thoroughly cleaned.
Marindo Blad`s unique and clever marble & stone resin tops bring a sculptural quality to these very practical tables. Characteristic of the 1950`s, natural material, such as rough stone, was brought inside for an exotic Modern look. This piece still looks contemporary with the Minimalist chrome frame and highly polished finishes.
Each table consists of a chromed rectangular base with a removable top, The tops have embedded pieces of stone & marble in different shades together with tiny pieces of gold dust set in clear resin finished in a high polish. The combination of the textured stones within a glossed setting adds depth and a surreal quality.
All the top surfaces are in very good vintage condition with no cracks or chips in the resin. The frames are in very good condition with minor pitting to the chrome in line with the age. All the original black rubber stoppers are present.

Packing is offered free of charge. The tops could be removed, bubble wrapped separately and packed together in a box. The frames could be bubble wrapped with a final layer of stretch wrap.
