Maison Jansen table lamp, sculpture of a crane, silver plated, with original pagoda lamp shade, 1960`s ca, French.

Thoroughly cleaned respecting the antique patina. Newly rewired & earthed with silk cable, new metal lamp holder, new plug and new switch on the cable. This lamp is ready to use.

At the focal point of this vintage table lamp stands a crane in silver plate. The quality casting is executed with naturalistic detail right down to the rooty terrain at the base.

The exotic subject would suit a wide range of decors and the slender form is perfect for a desk, console, side table or sideboard.

The crane stands in front of a palm stem also of silver plate. This stem cleverly leads to the lamp holder which is positioned well over the sculpture.

The original vintage square pagoda lamp shade completes the composition. The lamp shade is in black patent leather effect with black fabric trim. Inside the shade is lined in a soft metallic golden tone.

This lamp takes 1 standard (E27) big screw light bulb up to 60 Watts.

The silver plated sculpture is in very good condition with antique patina in line with age. The vintage lamp shade is in moderate condition for its age; there are some minor marks & dents but no cuts or rips. Inside there is some "bubbling" on the inside gold metallic lining as photographed although this is hardly noticeable when the shade is on.

The base alone (without the lamp shade) has: Height: 55 cm, Width: 18 cm, Depth: 18 cm.

The lamp shade has: Height: 20 cm, Width: 45 cm, Depth: 45 cm.

Packing is offered free of charge. The lamp shade would be removed. The shade and base would be bubble wrapped separately and boxed together safely for transport.
