This large three dimensional faux ivory pendant is from Luca Razza`s famous Zodiac collection. It consists of a impressive gold tone metal with ivory colored resin inserts. The pair of Pisces fish are textured and decorated with thick gilded metal at the eye, fins & lips. Turning over reveals the basket metal work which adds depth and reduces the weight. The pendant is set on the original gold gilt plated chain with large links and the original working clasp. Stamped on the back © Razza. In good condition with some rubbing to the gold gilt in line with age. Gift box included. Other pieces from Razza`s Zodiac collection appear in the book `Costume Jewelers The Golden Age of Design` (photographed) and `Miller`s 2007 Antiques Guide`.

The chain length on either side of the pendant is 22 cm.

Luca Razza Jewelry History - Luca Razza lived & worked in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. He started working in the 1950`s and by 1958 he launched the Ronnie Jewelry Company. In the 1970`s he began working with a new process which involved a two component liquid polyurethane as in this Zodiac line from 1973. In the early 1990`s Luca opened Plaza Jewelry in North Kingstown, RI, USA.
