Kinkeldey chandelier, crystal & gilt, 1970`s ca, Germany. This elegant design by
Kinkeldey is decorative & modern with quality multifaceted crystals
which beautifully reflect the light. The 24 Karat gilt frame consists of three circular tiers suspending 31 faceted hexagonal crystal shades. The bar is removable and can be shortened or replaced with a longer bar or chain if needed. The original brass ceiling cup finishes the bar at the top and can be fit at different heights. Carries horizontally inside the frame 4 light bulbs; 3 standard small screw light bulbs up to 60 Watts each and one standard big screw light bulb up to 100 Watts at the bottom. Rewired in full working order and ready to use. The frame is in very good condition with a nice patina on the gilt in line with age. The 31 crystal shades which
screw securely to the frame
are all original; 20 are in perfect condition and 11 have minor signs of wear (tiny chips) in line with age but this is not noticeable when they are on the frame. This chandelier can be disassembled for easy transportation.
Diameter each crystal shade: 8 cm
Height of only the frame (without the bar) 22 cm
Height of the bar which is removable is 38 cm
