Large vintage glass chandelier by Kalmar Design, 1970`s ca, Austria. Stunning piece where twenty four clear textured glass shades hook at different levels from the frame and cover the bulbs simulating an ice effect. The square gold metal base fits flat and screws to ceiling. The empty central space between the shades is to show the golden base from the bottom, reflecting the light to great decoratif effect. Brutalist piece in style but glamorous at the same time. Carries 24 standard small screw lightbulbs up to 40w each. Very good condition. Rewired and in full working order.
