Glass flowers & brass pair of wall lights by Ernst Palme, 1970`s ca, German.

Both lights have been thoroughly cleaned respecting the vintage patina. Newly rewired, earthed, in full working order & ready to install. Light bulbs included.  It is possible to install these lights in other countries although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity.   They  can be used with a dimmer.

This sculptural pair of wall lights have the playful design of a bouquet of clear glass flowers. They are from the famous & historical Palme Lighting company. These lights would work well as wall lights or as flush ceiling lights.

The sweet design in quality textured glass & brass would suit a range of interiors such as Art Deco, Traditional, Hollywood Regency, Minimalist or Contemporary.

Each clear glass flower shade has textured petals and is securely screwed in place to the frame with a gilt plated decorative nut which also serves to finish the flower at the center. On the arm`s thread there is also a lower brass bolt to secure the flower shade at the right height. Each light has 7 glass flower shades.

On each light, the solid brass frame is finished in a high polish which reflects a warm light. The dome-shaped plate has angled sides. It screws to the ceiling/wall through three holes on the base which are hidden under the flowers.
Each base has 7 solid brass straight arms finishing at the end with a flower.

The 3 lamp holders have highly polished brass covers with a round decorative brass detail at the junction with the arm. Each lamp holder faces parallel to the base.

Each light carries 3 standard small screw light bulbs (E14) up to 40 Watts each. Presently fitted with standard Pygmy shape clear 25 Watts light bulbs, which are included in this price. These lights could take other E14 shape light bulbs. It is possible to use a dimmer switch with these lights.

All the glass flowers are in perfect condition. The solid brass frames are in very good condition with the original clear lacquer present.  On the back of one of the bases there is the original Palme maker`s label.

Packing is offered free of charge. We take special professional care while packing. For safe transport the glass flowers would be removed and individually wrapped as would the brass bases. Together these pieces would fit nicely into a box for shipping.

Also available in stock is a large matching wall/ceiling lights as photographed, featured on Roomscape`s site as item #10932.

Additional dimensions:

The diameter of each glass flower is 9 cm.

The diameter of the round brass base only is 17.5 cm.
