Gaetano Sciolari for Lightolier vintage Brutalist brass 9 light tubular chandelier, 1970`s ca, Italy. Attractive sculptural combination of polished brass vertical tubes connected by horizontal arches. The top and bottom surface of each arch are in polished brass while the sides of each are in brushed gold metal with a decorative bolt in the centre. The contrasting finishes reflect beautifully the light and emphasize texture. A decorative rosette finishes the frame at the top and can be adjusted. Carries nine standard small screw light bulbs up to 40 Watts each. At present photographed with pigmy shaped 15 Watts light bulbs but can take any other bulb shape for a different look. Very good condition with only minor patina on the frame consistent with age. Rewired and in full working order.
