Vintage circular wall mirror, silver on very dark bottle green/nearly black mirror surround, by Cristal Lupi Luxor for Antonio Lupi, 1970`s ca, Italy. Elegant patterned bevelling on the edge that beautifully reflects the light. Very good condition with gentle mirror fading along the edge and some patina in line with age. The photographed paper maker`s label is from another similar mirror to serve as an example. This mirror does not have a label.

Antonio Lupi’s career started in the 1950s and the company is still thriving today. His original business involved working sheets of glass for furnishings in the Industrial area of the Val D’Arno. Glass accessories became a huge success and realising he had started an important trend he immediately changed direction towards artistic mirrors, lamps, sconces and shelves.
