This wall light has been thoroughly cleaned respecting the vintage patina, It is newly rewired & earthed , in full working order and ready to install. Light bulbs included.
This sculptural vintage wall light, attributed to Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors Lighting, is an elegant composition in quality solid brass with 3 large glass sculptural leaves.
From a central solid brass base radiate 3 arms of rectangular section, each of which curves upwards to complete the leaf design. The base is a
half cylinder closed at the top & bottom. The base is finished at the bottom with a decorative Neoclassical solid brass finial.
The removable glass shades attach by two decorative brass screws internally to the arms.
The 3 lamp holders sit on the arms facing upwards and have decorative cylindrical shape solid brass tube covers.
Each arm holds a small standard screw light bulb E14 up to 60 Watts each. At present fitted with Candle clear light bulbs 40 watts (as photographed).
Each sculptural clear glass shade is shaped with a textured leaf pattern. The shade is indented in the centre to `rest` on the brass arm giving this piece depth & volume. The upper edge of the glass leaf curves slightly outwards to finish the design. The glass shades have an external gloss finish. Internally there is a layer of sparkling specks of crystal shards creating depth & great reflections

The 3 glass leaves are all in very good condition.
The polished brass frame has the original clear lacquer in good condition with a patina in some places adding character.
To attach the light to the wall, there is a hidden removable square metal plate. This screws from the top of the frame inside the frame. The plate has 2 holes to fit to the wall.
The original manufacturer paper label is inside the frame.
Packing is offered free of charge. For safe transport, all the glass pieces would be removed and individually wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap & soft cardboard. The frame would be wrapped in bubble wrap. Together these parts would easily fit into a box ideal for posting.
