Brass flower wall lights, a pair by the Belgian lighting company `Massive`, 1970`s ca.
These decorative sculptural wall lights consist of 6 quality cast naturalistic textured leaves on a brass gilt frame. The golden brass tone reflects a warm light creating depth and interesting reflections. The center of each light is finished playfully with a lamp holder perfect for a Gold Crown light bulb.
Each wall light carries 1 small standard screw light bulb (E14) up to 40 watts. Presently fitted with Gold Crown light bulbs of 25 Watts, as photographed. These light bulbs are included in the price. This type of light bulb is in production today and easily available over the internet. Alternatively it is possible to use other light bulb shapes like clear Golf or Pygmy shapes.
The assembly and fitting to the wall is simple; a metal bracket screws sideways to each frame. The bracket has 2 holes itself through which it is screwed to the wall. Each frame separates into two sections, each of which has three leaves. The outer section has a screw ring which holds the piece together. The quality frames are in excellent condition and each has the original maker`s label inside the frame.
Thoroughly cleaned, rewired & ready to use.
They sell together and the price is for the pair.
