Bill Jacklin prints `Table Top with Rattle`, etching 1978 England. Framed signed, dated and numbered 9/15 in pencil by the artist. It is printed on BFK Rives watermarked paper and is in good original condition. A copy of this print hangs in the Los Angles County Museum of Art.

Bill Jacklin artist was born in London in 1943. Following studying at the Walthamstow School of Art in London he went on to graduate from the Royal College of Art in 1967. Jacklin taught at Chelsea School of Art, Hornsey
and Royal College of Art and at schools in Kent and Surrey. Initially
concerned with abstraction, his work moved to figuration in the
mid 1970`s, with an emphasis on light & movement. In 1985 Bill Jacklin
moved to New York during which he concentrated on painting `Urban Portraits` of `the city`. Bill Jacklin is well known internationally as a painter, printmaker, draughtsman and teacher. He was elected a
Royal Academician in 1991 and in 1993 was Official Artist-in-Residence
for the British Council in Hong Kong. Bill Jacklin has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art NYC, with Nigel Greenwood Inc, and regularly with Marlborough Fine Art. His work is represented in many public collections, including Arts Council of Great Britain; British Council; British Museum; Government Art Collection; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Museum of Modern Art in New York; Royal Academy; Royal College of Art; Tate Gallery, London; Victoria and Albert Museum, London; the Yale Center for British Art, New Haven, Connecticut. Jacklin presently lives and works in New York.
