Barovier & Toso chandelier, hand blown Murano glass on a brass frame, 1970`s Italy.

This Midcentury piece combines classic Italian craftsmanship with a Modernist feel. The elegant large hand blown Murano glass ceiling fixture is comprised of 16 handmade glass leaves on a polished brass frame. The quality clear glass leaves have a smooth external side and textured shards of glass on the internal side, adding depth and reflection while also diffusing light. Each shade has 2 holes to screw securily to the frame. The design is finished at the bottom with a circular sun pattern glass piece which is finished with brass detailing and a clear glass rose. All glass pieces are removable. Carries 8 small screw standard (E14) light bulbs up to 40 Watts each.The brass chain can be shorten or lengthened to suit the height. At the top of the chain there is the original brass ceiling cup which has inside a hook to fit the chandelier to the ceiling. For easy transport the chain folds down and each glass leaf can be individually wrapped. Rewired, in full working order and ready to use. All the glass shades are in excellent condition as is the brass frame.

The height of just the frame (without the chain) is 28 cm
The length of the chain is 65 cm.
Each glass leaf has a Length: 30 cm & Width: 13 cm.
