This antique picture & frame are both in the original condition. They have been gently cleaned while preserving the aged patina.
In this scene exotic parrots along with flowers are portrayed on a black background surrounded by a bamboo effect wooden frame. The contrast between the black against the colour of the images as well as the reflective surfaces make this picture a good example of The Art Deco style

This charming picture combines several techniques: printing, reverse painting on glass & foil art. The design consists of a loving couple of parrots on branches & foliate at the centre, surrounded at either side by daffodils & freesias.
The delicate bamboo effect wooden frame is original to the piece.
On the reverse there is the original wooden board and two metal rings either side of the frame, through which stretches metal wiring to hang the picture to the wall.
This antique picture is in very good condition for its age. The image is in good condition with no stains. The frame is in good condition with no loses, only minor rubbing. The glass is in good condition with no chips only superficial marks. All consistent with age & wear.
