Pair antique Art & Crafts/Art Noveau wall lights/lanterns, 1920`s ca, England. This pair of wall-mount lanterns, dating from the early 1900’s, are suitable for either interior or exterior use, and would be perfect for any Tudor, Gothic Revival, or Spanish Revival décor. Each wall light consists of a glass lantern hanging from an extending curved arm secured to the wall with two screws at the copper back plate. The clear dimpled amber glass shades are in a unique cone shape. The original glass has been superbly blown and worked to bulge between the copper frame. The frame has riveted copper work characteristic of the period. The entire composition casts a warm light reflected onto the wall. The arms and frames around the shades are in copper metal with an original antique patina that gives character. Each wall light carries inside the shade a standard bayonet light bulb up to 60 Watts. The lanterns unscrew from the extending arm to change the light bulb. Both glass shades are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Both lights rewired and in full working order. They sell together. The price is for the pair.
