1970`s illuminated coffee table/side table
with rock crystals

This vintage item has been gently cleaned while respecting the aged patina and is ready to use.
This Brutalist coffee table has been inspired by the `Chartres` Raak lighting design of the 1970`s which was created by the glass artist Willem van Oyen Sr.
This 1970`s coffee table consists of a steel cube frame with four square glass panels. Each side has been decorated with clear, brown & green rock crystals and finished with glass granules on golden painted glass. The top of the cube is laminated in black material and comes off to change the bulb inside. On the top rests the original smoked brown glass table top.
This table takes one big standard screw light bulb E 27 up to 100 Watts. Newly rewired, earthed, Pat Tested by an electrician
and in full working order.
This table is in good vintage condition with a nice warm patina on the steel frame which adds character. All the glass pieces are present and in very good condition with minor rubbing in places in line with age & wear.

The dimensions of the illuminated base without the glass top are Height: 37.5 cm, Width: 37.5 cm & Depth: 37.5 cm.
Packing is offered free of charge. We take special professional care while packing. For safe transport the screen would be folded & wrapped in bubble wrap, foam and an outer layer of card. It would then easily fit into a box with loose fill packing nuts, safe for posting with a courier. We ship with reliable couriers (signed for, tracked & insured).
