1970`s brass lamp, sculpture of a polo player & horse by Regina, Italy.
This vintage Modernist table lamp is of a polo player in action which is a very rare subject.
The base consists of a solid brass sculpture of a polo player on horse set on a black lacquered wooden base. The quality brass casting has a lot of detail right down to the separate mallet and ball. This vintage table lamp carries the original pagoda black lacquered shade with gold trim & gold lining which reflects a warm tone. Takes one large standard screw light bulb (E 27) up to 60 Watts. Newly rewired with gold silk cable & cord switch, all in full working order. The quality

has a great patina which gives character. The shade has some signs of wear consistent with age but the over all condition is very good.
