Maison Jansen brass table in the Regency style, 1920`s ca, French.

Thoroughly cleaned respecting the antique patina.

This quality solid brass cast table with its sweet heart trimmed galleried top would make an elegant & secure drinks or side table. The Neo-classical features executed in solid brass suggest this table could be from  Maison Jansen which the attributed maker. This antique occasional table would suit a wide range of decors from Traditional, Hollywood Regency, Art Deco or Contemporary Minimalist.

The octagonal top is highlighted with a pattern of decorative brass nails and a brass galleried top pierced with a unique heart motif. This detailed craftmanship along with the warm brass tone make this piece special and a decorative addition to any room.

The table top is supported by an elegant Neo-Egyptian style column; fluted at the top & lotus bud form at the bottom. The column sits on a square plinth base with four undulated sculptural sides. The plinth is trimmed with a rope-like pattern. The four lion claw feet are beautifully cast and securely screwed to the base with a decorative brass bolt.

This table is all in very good condition. The brass finish is free from any damages or major marks. The brass has a warm antique patina developed over the years. The table is sturdy and has a very good weight.  The underside of the table top is reinforced with the original wood which is in very good condition.

For transport this table would be bubble wrapped with an outer layer of card. It could be boxed and shipped by a courier service.
